Monitoring workflows
This section entails all workflows where we want to monitor the live data to get notified of certain events, typically via e-mail.
Note that the monitoring functionality can also be used to create context items automatically. This can always be done in addition to sending out an e-mail to keep track of anomalous events and save them for further analysis or as a references to others. In other cases, the context item annotation is done on known recurring features in our data, of which we do not want to receive an alert as they occur (e.g., our purpose is only to enrich these context items with additional information for record keeping, and/or to create a Gantt chart overview of our process). The latter use case is not counted as a monitoring workflow, as the goal is not to get alerted.
