Skills Matrix
Objective
The TrendMiner Skill Matrix is designed to assess and enhance the knowledge levels of key users in utilizing TrendMiner. The matrix includes five levels (0 to 4) representing the user's proficiency in key value streams: General, Monitoring, Reporting, Dashboarding, and Troubleshooting.

Download TrendMiner Skill Matrix and open the Excel Sheet “Key User questionnaire”
Assess your expertise in the key value streams using the definitions provided and take our TrendMiner Quiz to determine your current TrendMiner skill level:
Enter your skill levels in the green cells of the table below to see where you currently stand, and fill in your desired skill levels for each key value stream to get a good overview in the resulting radar plot.
Once you have entered your skill level goals, go to the 'Training material per Key Value' spreadsheet and take the relevant courses to improve your TrendMiner knowledge and reach your desired skill level.
Regularly update your current TrendMiner skill level status to continuously improve and become a TrendMiner Coach.

Level | Skill | Description |

0 | Novice | No knowledge about TrendMiner. Starting with a first introduction into the tool to get started and understand the use of TrendMiner. |
1 | Basic | As a TrendMiner basic user, you already started with the first steps in the tool and know the basics to leverage your own process data. Getting started with the basic functionalities in the different key value streams. |
2 | Intermediate | Intermediate TrendMiner users already deepen their knowledge in the different key value streams by using advanced functionalities and applying them to their own use cases. |
3 | Advanced | Advanced TrendMiners use the entire toolbox that TrendMiner offers to work on their use cases and create value, which they summarize in presentations and share their results, successes and knowledge with others in their company. |
4 | Coach | As a TrendMiner coach, you are able to teach other users in TrendMiner & answer TrendMiner specific questions as well as motivate colleagues so that they get the most out of their process data with TrendMiner. |
Assessment Criteria
Users should self-assess their proficiency in each key value stream based on the provided definitions, which can be found in the Excel sheet "Key User questionnaire". In addition, you can test your TrendMiner knowledge by taking the TrendMiner Quiz to get a better understanding of your current skill level:

< 4 | Novice | If you scored less than 4 points, you are still in Level 0. We recommend starting with our Getting Started videos, where the initial steps in TrendMiner will be demonstrated to you. |
4-7 | Basic | Congratulations! You are already a beginner.There is room for improvement, especially in specific value streams to continue with the advanced trainings. |
8-10 | Intermediate | You are on your way to become an intermediate user and can access the more advanced training material. |
11-12 | Advanced/Coach | You already know quite a lot about TrendMiner and can continue to deepen your knowledge even more by attending our monthly online trainings, working on your own value cases, creating reports and present & share them with your colleagues. Continue to motivate and train your colleagues in the use of TrendMiner. |

Refer to the second sheet of the Excel file "Training material per Key Value" for relevant training materials. Utilise the provided resources to enhance your TrendMiner skills, gain a deeper understanding of TrendMiner and progress to the next skill level.
By actively engaging with the TrendMiner Skill Matrix, setting personal goals, and utilising the provided resources, you can take charge of your own development, contribute to the success of the company, and progress to higher proficiency levels in using TrendMiner.
