Getting started with TrendMiner
Welcome to TrendMiner! The following four-step onboarding journey will teach you about the basic functionalities of the platform. In under 20 minutes, you will learn how to add your tags (measurements) to a view, to perform a value-based search and to set up your first monitor.
What is TrendMiner?
TrendMiner is an advanced analytics platform, providing process experts like yourself with the right tools to analyze your process data. Watch the following video for a short introduction to TrendMiner and its three main Hubs.
Create your first TrendHub view
TrendHub helps you analyze time series data; think of process measurements such as temperatures, pressures and valve states. We refer to these measurements as tags. Tags are brought together and visualized in TrendHub views which give you a window to your process behavior.
Learn how to search for, add, and visualize tags, and save your views for future access in the following video.
Perform a value-based search
TrendHub Searches help you identify historical time periods for which specific process behavior is observed. Get a look at TrendMiner's search options and learn how to perform your first value-based search in the video below.
Set up your first monitor
In TrendMiner, everything you search for, can also be monitored. A monitor informs you when specified behavior (re-)occurs. Learn how to be alerted either directly within the TrendMiner platform or via email when search conditions are triggered in the following video.
