External content tile

The external content tile allows you to visualize embeddable content from outside of TrendMiner into DashHub.

Creating an external content tile:

Warning

TrendMiner is not responsible for external content. Your ConfigHub administrator can determine which domains are allowed for use in external content tiles. Always look specifically for an embeddable URL in the source application or website.

  1. Start with a new or saved dashboard and click the "Action" button in the dashboard bar.

  2. The "Create new tile" panel is shown on the righthand side of the screen.

  3. Select the tile with type "External content".

  4. Add a title of your choice. This is optional.

  5. When the option is enabled for your user, an URL can be added in the settings of the tile.

    Note

    Domains from which external content is allowed to be embedded need to be specified by a ConfigHub administrator. By clicking on the information icon next to “External URL”, you can see which domains have been allowed within your organization.

  6. To add the tile to the dashboard, click the “Add new tile” button at the bottom of the side panel. The newly created current value tile will be displayed on the dashboard.
