Defining the search duration
A search duration needs to be defined for value based, digital step, and operating area searches.
![]() |
You can define the duration using one or multiple of the following time indications.
Seconds: seconds, second, sec or s
Minutes: minutes, minute, min or m
Hours: hours, hour, hr or h
Days: days, day, dy or d
Weeks: weeks, week, wk or w
Months: months, month, mo, mth or M
Years: years, year, yr or y
For example, a minimum duration of 1 hours 30 minutes 10 seconds can be defined in either of the following ways (other options will work):
At least for 1 hours 30 minutes 10 seconds
At least for 1h30m10s
At least for 5410s
Remarks
The minimal search result duration is defined by 2 times the index resolution (e.g., for an index resolution of 1 minute, you will be able to search for periods of at least 2 minutes).
The duration of your search results will always be a multiple of the index resolution, so it is advised to define the minimal search duration as multiples of the index resolution as well.
To avoid missed results due to this restriction, search results with a slightly shorter duration will appear in the result list as well.
A month is defined as 1/12th of a year.
A year is defined as 365 days.
